Walked 6500 km for Hajj: 53-year-old Adam, who reached Mecca from Britain, said - this journey was for humanity
The holy Hajj pilgrimage of Muslims
, which was halted due to the Corona epidemic, is taking place after two years. For this, a British citizen Adam Mohammed traveled from Britain to Mecca (6500 km) on foot for 11 months 26 days. Adam started this journey on 1st August 2021 and he reached Ayesha Masjid on 26th June. Adam used to walk 17.8 km daily.
Adam chose the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan to reach Saudi.
Vehicle made for travel, whose weight is 250 kg
Adam, 53, is an Iraqi Kurd who started the pilgrimage from his home in Wolverhampton. Adam, who reached Mecca's Aisha Mosque, told that he had made a car for the journey, in which all the things he needed were kept. Due to this his weight had become 250 kg, he used to walk while pulling it. During his journey, he used to cook, eat and sleep in this car.
The family arrived to welcome Adam
When Adam reached Mecca, his family, two daughters and relatives had already reached Mecca to welcome him. Adam documented his entire journey on YouTube channel. He also used to live streaming the journey on Instagram, Tiktok, so that his experience could be passed on to his followers as well. Although they were stopped by the Netherlands Police, but later they let them go on the journey.
There was no problem except the weather
According to reports, when Adam reached Mecca after traveling for a year, he started crying. He told that apart from the changing weather on the way, he did not face any other problem. People would help pull his car, provide food and even a place to rest. Mohammed also said that upon reaching the hill of Arafat, he thanked Allah for the fulfillment of his greatest dream, as his journey was not for fame, but for religion and humanity.
